NEW PAINT COLORS
As of May 2022 – Trilogy has a new paint chart. Please be advised that all prior paint colors have been retired and can no longer be used any longer to repaint a home, only for touch-up painting. This includes the original paint colors chosen by the builder, Westbrooke.
Any resident who wishes to repaint their home must utilize one of the new colors and must obtain approval in writing prior to repainting. All trim, fascia, soffit, doors, windows and garage doors must be white. The round trim rings, and decorative shutters adjacent to some windows, may be painted white or one of the corresponding darker colors from the new paint chart. Certain stucco colors go with certain shutter/round trim colors, so please obtain approval prior. Flat or satin finish permitted on all paint colors.
Modification forms to repaint your home may be obtained on the community website on the home page.
Residents who do not follow this approval process prior to repainting their home and apply an incorrect color to their home will have to repaint their home in a correct color. Failure to do so will result in a fine by the association. Fines may be issued at $100.00 per day up to $1,000.00 maximum as permitted by Florida Statutes.
The new colors are available at Sherwin Williams at 11820 Miramar Parkway.
If you have any questions about this process please contact the management office at 954-708-3682. Thank you, Mary Jarzembowski, Property Manager on behalf of the Board of Directors, Flamingo Estates
CRIME PREVENTION
We would like to take this time to ask residents to take preventative measures to try and prevent your home from being burglarized. Several residents have installed video cameras outside their homes. Video monitoring cameras are permitted as long as they are the bubble type in white or black or white elongated slender cameras, nothing intrusive or large, please. Also, video monitoring cameras cannot be aimed directly into neighboring homes, backyards or windows. Because of some of the video cameras, some suspects have been arrested and charged. If you have an alarm system, please make sure the monitoring contract is in force. Also, several residents do not turn on their outside lights at night. We are asking every resident to turn on their outside lights. If you have updated cell numbers and emergency contact numbers please let us know so we can update your files. These numbers are only given out in the event there is an emergency at your home. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR YOUR NEIGHBORS, DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLES OVER NIGHT, AND IF YOU SEE ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS PLEASE CONTACT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
PLEASE CALL NO CUTS BEFORE YOU DIG !!!
Please be sure to call the Central Locating Service, also know as “no cuts” before you dig on your property. Recently, an owner began digging without knowing what was underground on their lot and cut into a phone line which affected several homeowners. By calling the Central Locating Service you may avoid costly and inconvenient problems for yourself and for fellow residents. THEIR # IS 1-800-778-9140 THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION
